Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche dress 1984

Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche documented dress from the 1984 fall/winter collection, is in a fine floral silk in shades of gray and pink on a black background.
The dress has a self tie at the neck and round buttons up the front to the hip and a hook and eye at the waist. The skirt portion is lined in black and there are shoulder pads for slight structure, and side slit pockets. With removable shoulder pads.
Worn on the runway, it is a very special archive piece.

The Yves Saint Laurent dress was illustrated by Antonio Lopez and featured in Vogue US October 1984.

Composition: No composition tag, but it is 100% silk with black velvet at the cuffs and over the shoulders.
